2008 trailblazer rear wiper arm replacement 2 Answers replacement arm has a metal collar in the opening that goes over the motor extension that doesn't allow it to fit (too small with the collar). Do you pop the metal collar out? The opening would appear. Yesterday, my rear wiper workied fine, all of a sudden it stopped. When I first checked the fuse it was blown so I put in a new one. Pulled that 5 prong switch out, put it back in, replaced the panel, closed the trunk, turned the rear wiper on and it worked. Turned it off and it went up and stopped and that was the end of it.

It does a few circles, just like when you are using the washer, and stops in a random place on the window. Been going on for 18 months. Are there any other option then buying a new motor? The front passenger window is stuck.

- The rear window wiper turns on when I start up the car, or just put electricity on the car. It does a few circles, just like when you are using the washer, and stops in a random place on the window. Been going on for 18 months. Are there any other option then buying a new motor? Rear Wiper Stops And Starts
Hi everyone,
The rear wiper of my x-type estate 2006 does not work anymore. When I open the tail glass, I can hear a slapping noise, like if it released something stuck. I don't understand how it works, there is a round plate with a hole that doesn't seem to properly face the pin on the wiper, thus I don't think the pins enters the hole, which may explain the lack of electrical contact? My english is pretty bad, so I posted a picture that might better illustrate what I'm trying to explain...
